Find a new friend! - Check our website and visit our adoption partner locations to view our adoptable dogs and cats.
Apply - When you find a dog or cat that you are interested in adopting, complete an application on-line ( dog application or cat application ) or complete an application in person at any of our partner locations. All applications will be reviewed within 24 hours and phone interviews will be conducted with applicants that are potential matches for the animal of interest. A home visit may be required prior to adoption.
Making a match - Our goal is to place our animals in environments that are best suited to their personalities and needs. Our animals come to us because they have lost their homes. Because of this, we make every effort to ensure that every adoption is a forever home adoption. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we try to ensure that our animals never find themselves homeless again.
Adoption procedure - Once adoption approval has been given, you can pick up the newest member of your family from the partner location! You will be required to complete a contract at the time of adoption and we encourage you to review the contract and familiarize yourself with our policies. You will receive a copy of our 15-Day Medical Assistance (applicable to shelter-related illnesses only), which we also encourage you to review. Your dog or cat's vaccination record will also be provided at the time of adoption - please be sure you receive this documentation prior to departing the adoption partner location.
Adoption fees
- Adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccine/s, deworming, and a dental, if needed. Our cats are also Leukemia tested at the time of intake. Adoption fees are non-refundable.
